Kevin responded to a flood at our commercial location after a sprinkler system had burst and flooded the whole warehouse. Kevin was quick to explain what drying methods needed to take place and had the area cleaned up quickly! Give them a call if you are in need!

We came home on a Sunday afternoon to our mudroom sink overflowing onto the floor (it had been running for about 7 hours while we were gone for the day). The water was throughout the first floor isolated to one side of the house but it was much worse in the newly finished basement. The water travelled from one end of the house to the other and was raining out of about 40 can lights throughout our finished basement covering almost all of the finished basement floor. We decided to call Thompson... Restoration and we are so glad that we did. They arrived at the house within about 2 hrs of the call (we are located 45-60 mins from them) and immediately began to remove all of the standing water then removing all of the damaged drywall, flooring and baseboards/trim work.after tearing out all of the damaged flooring, they immediately began to setup all of their industrial fans and dehumidifiers to begin the drying process to save as much of the drywall as possible without having to remove more material than was required. At the exact time that their equipment was setup and ready to roll, a storm rolled through our area knocking out the power. Just when we thought our day couldn’t get worse, they were able to start the process by getting generators running and began drying out the water. On top of that, they provided window units to help control the temperature in the house and help us be as comfortable as possible while being without electric for about 4-5hrs. They worked diligently into the morning hours (1am-2am). During the several days of the drying process they returned multiple times to check readings, move more fans to problem spots, and ensure the drying process was working and heading in the correct direction. They put down material over the subfloor so we didn’t have to worry about walking throughout the house and getting splinters. They thought of everything and went above and beyond to make sure that this terrible situation went as good as it possibly could have gone. The whole crew was spectacular. They had open lines of communication throughout the process and explained everything to us each step of the way. Their knowledge of water damage and everything that it entails was incredibly impressive. They were able to refer contractors for the future repairs that had to be done and they were super helpful in providing information that was helpful in dealing with our insurance company throughout this whole process. I have no doubt that their responsiveness, hard work, and expertise saved us from much more damage and material tear out, saving us a lot of time on more repairs. I cannot say enough good things about Thompson Restoration and would highly recommend them for anyone that has a similar problem. True professionals and absolutely a 5 star company. It really seems like Kevin found his purpose in life. We had major water damage on all three floors due to a leak in the master bath. Kevin is very passionate about his work and seems to care more about our house than myself. Although you never want to need these guys, we are lucky to have found him.

They did a great job on the mold restoration. They restored the mold in 2 hours and paid great attention to detail! The people who fixed the mold were very friendly and explained! Overall great experience
